What is Golfreisen Weltweit?
Golfreisen Weltweit is the golf brand of CASTAN Golfreisen Reiseveranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH from Hamburg. We are a tour operator under German law and have specialised in golf holidays in Turkey, Spain, Portugal and Morocco for over 25 years.
Why are there no prices on the website?
Golf trips are individual: travel dates, room category, number of rounds, flights and extras change the price considerably. That is why we prepare a personal offer for you within 48 hours – free and without obligation. Current prices can also be found at our parent company, castangolfreisen.de.
Do you also plan group and corporate trips?
Yes, group trips from eight people are our speciality: club trips, incentives, customer tournaments – with tee-time blocks, tournament organisation and tour guidance on request. Use our group form.
Enquiry & booking
How does an enquiry work?
You send us your wishes via the form, by email or by phone. We check availability with hotels, golf clubs and, if applicable, airlines and send you an offer listing all services. A travel contract only comes into effect once you confirm the offer.
Is my enquiry binding?
No. The enquiry is free and non-binding. It only becomes binding with your written booking confirmation and our travel confirmation.
Can I cancel or rebook my trip?
Yes, under the conditions set out in our terms of travel. Cancellation fees depend on the time of withdrawal; we recommend travel cancellation insurance, which we are happy to offer.
Payment & security
How and when do I pay?
After receiving the booking confirmation and the insolvency certificate you pay a 20 % deposit; the balance is due 30 days before departure. You can pay by bank transfer; we inform you about further payment methods in the offer.
Are my payments protected?
Yes. As a tour operator we secure customer payments for package holidays pursuant to § 651r BGB. You receive an insolvency protection certificate with your booking confirmation.
Golf & courses
Are green fees and tee times included in the package?
Our packages include the agreed number of rounds on the courses named. We reserve tee times in advance and confirm them in writing. Buggies are included on many courses or can be added.
What handicap do I need?
That depends on the course. Many resort courses do not require a handicap; some championship courses (e.g. in Spain or Portugal) require handicap 28 (men) / 36 (ladies) or a course permit. We check the requirements for every course you wish to play.
Can I hire golf clubs?
Yes, hire clubs (usually branded sets) are available on almost all courses. We reserve them in advance on request. Alternatively we arrange golf baggage transport on your flight.
Travel & flights
Do you organise flights and transfers too?
Yes. On request your package includes flights from your preferred airport, golf baggage, transfers and hire car. You can also book only hotel and golf and travel independently.
When is the best time to travel?
Turkey: October to May. Spain and Portugal: all year, especially spring and autumn. Morocco: October to April. Every destination page contains a monthly overview and climate information.
Can non-golfers come along?
Gladly. All our resorts offer spa, beach, pools and excursions – we book companions without golf services at an adjusted price.
