The Carya Golf Club is Belek’s flagship: a course in the style of the English heathland classics, with sand bunkers, heather and mature pines – and the first course in Europe to be fully floodlit.
Thomson, Perrett & Lobb designed Carya in 2008 on the model of the Surrey heathland courses: tight fairways lined with heather, deep bunkers and fast, undulating greens. The European Tour visited with the Turkish Airlines Open from 2013 to 2019. Since 2015 the whole course has been lit – evening rounds in summer are an experience.
The course belongs to the Regnum Carya and is reserved for its guests, so tee times are relaxed. Clubhouse, driving range, practice greens, pro shop and academy are right at the resort.
